You are very wrong, you haven't felt the dark endless abyss of lonliness. The pain inches across your wrist, legs, inner arms, e.c.t. And you don't feel the pain in your heart anymore, but just like a drug, you need more and more to get that feeling or "rush" again, soon your cutting twice a day, even if it's a "good day". There is only one thing though, there are no more good days. So you cut and cut. It's not a thing you want, it's a thing you need. So dont tell me that I dont need to cut. Dont tell me that I have to stop. Dont tell me that I'm gonna feel better once the cutting stops. Cause I wont feel better, I will only feel a black abyss of emptyness that I cannot fill. It is a dark void that swallows me whole and eats my soul and heart slowly. It is a illness that chews away at my sanity until I break. I break and cut. And cut. And cut. My mom tells me to go to hell and let satan rape me. How do you think that feels? I need an escape. I dont find it in doing sports or shit like that, I find it in cutting. Who are you to say that I dont need to cut?

Funny, since I posted this picture to begin with….I am a victim, very much as you. Someone with scars written everywhere that enlist and portray every word you said. I am someone who cut, pinched, picked, punched, bruised, burned, and many other tactics for 5 years. Twice a day was a joke to me. From the moment I got home to the moment I would sleep- IF I slept- was self harm. Whether that be thoughts or actions, it never went away. I went to an extreme that scared me and I always said "I'll never quit. Not for anybody. Especially not for myself." And guess who's over 8 months free of this shit. I am.
BUT. I am a survivor. And whether you give a damn about yourself or not, no one NEEDS to cut. It's an addiction, damn straight, but it's something that all of these people- YOU- can kick in the ass. Endorphin's shouldn't control your life, you should.
So, who am I to say? I'm proof that you don't need to cut.So proud of you Melissa :)
